It all started as an idea way back in high school and a sketch that i drew up of a monkey who was blind. He didn't look the way he does now but more animated with giant black glasses and a walking stick. the idea followed me throughout the years but didn't grow until a couple years ago. 

 

I always knew i would own a business with my talent and love for art but i just didn't know what genre i would end up in. I've always had a big interest in skateboarding so it clicked to make my art and skateboarding one. a combination that would be the best decision i could of ever made. my life has been a roller coaster but i wouldn't change it for anything. the ride was totally worth it and i believe the best is coming this way.

 

you hear me say that when you buy blind monkey gear you become family, i say that because i believe it's true. you help build blind monkey to what it is today. it might sound cliche but it's true. Blind Monkey was born on the principal of family and friends. if you don't have family then you don't have nothing.

 

hard work and dedication has helped me to this point as well. My dad taught me that working hard and putting in effort will always pay off. the main motivation for me is my family. it's been tough but we've always seem to push through even with the changes in our lives so we can help our pop out.

 

Hearing my family tell me that they are proud of me is undescribable. it feels like you motivate them to go out and do what they love and fulfill their dreams. i also like to motivate you..the blind monkey crew, to go out and do what makes you happy. i appreciate all the love i get from you and i want to say thank you for making Blind monkey a presence in this world. i'm beyond grateful and i thank you.
